Snapshot Maps
‘Snapshots’ is a water quality monitoring program operating throughout the catchments in Adelaide & Mt Lofty Ranges. Participants in the program include schools, community groups, businesses, land
holders, environmental focus groups and interested individuals. Groups adopt a monitoring site and conduct water quality monitoring on six ‘snapshot’ days throughout the year. Data is sent to Waterwatch Adelaide for analysis and interpretation.
Colourful and informative Snapshot Maps are produced after each snapshot, displaying water quality results and data interpretation. These maps are sent to participating groups, catchment water management boards, the EPA, local councils, Stormwater Pollution Prevention officers and Our Patch officers.
