Snapshots
Snapshots is a community water quality monitoring program. Waterwatch can loan you a testing kit and train you to use the water monitoring equipment.
On four 'Snapshot' weeks throughout the year you visit your monitoring sites at a local waterway, wetland or drain to test the water quality.
Monitoring the water quality in your local waterway:
• Helps you learn more about your local catchment,
• Gives you new skills,
• Can mean you're the first person to find a pollution problem,
• Collects data that is important for the community,
• Encourages everyone to look after their catchment.
